Controversy is the synonym of the names working with the entertainment industry. Stars working in Bollywood are facing danger as in every activity of theirs something or someone has objectionable issues. The controversy has not left anyone in the Bollywood be it an actor or actress. The Issue of arrest warrant against Payal Rohatgi or overspeeding charges against John Abraham or claim of money by Salman Khan. Everyone is targeted by media to gather masala for their industry. Reporters are left with no sense of having nose for news. The page 3 world of news is exploring the life of celebrity not to make them familiar with the audience but to gain publicity of their medium of flashing news.
Actress Payal Rohatgi had hired a public relations firm named Soapbox to help build her image in the television industry for which she had to pay 15 percent of her remuneration to the firm. During the course of association, Payal rohatgi discontinued the services and duely informed her bank for a stop payment of the cheque to soapbox. A legal notice followed while as whole issue could have been settled outside the court. The press also reported that there is an arrest warrant issued by the court in Payal rohatgi’s name while as the summon was also not received by her which is a pre-requisite for an arrest warrant. Avantika sinha seems to put in her body and soul into this issue rather she could have done something more creative with time which she is spending on legal issue that in turn will have helped the industry in which she is working.
Bollywood actor John Abraham was taken into police custody in a six-year-old rash driving case but within hours got relief when the Bombay High Court granted him bail.Abraham was asked to deposit Rs20,000 to secure bail. The incident occurred on April 8, 2006, when Abraham rammed his Yamaha Hayabusa motorcycle into a bicycle on Carter Road in suburban Bandra, injuring two people. The actor's counsel Abad Ponda earlier said no negligence or rashness in driving was shown by Abraham and the injuries to the two victims were simple in nature. He said the actor had himself taken the victims to the hospital after the accident. Since the accused is a celebrity, such matters get publicized and hence a settlement could not be worked out.
Similarly is the case with the hunk of the Indian film industry Salmaan Khan and Sajid Nadyad Wala who wants Salmaan Khan to cast his film to be as a main hero, he is among those producers who refused to take the services of Salman Khan for around five years. but now his personality has attracted him and turned his decision. Salman said that as a punishment he has to award him an amount of Rs.5 cr. excluding his remunerations. It is not that only people outside who are throwing stones on the stars to get them publicized but the people working in the industry themselves are doing such cheap activities.
